Based on a google search, cost of a Shaw Sports Turf cost $550k-~$1.5 million or so.

My guess is the final cost depends on which turf, how "fancy" it is, etc.

My understanding is that one of the reasons the local (Boro) HS went to turf is so they could use it for soccer (and other events) without damaging the field.

It sure is looking like that final week game between SHSU and LU is going to have some meaning, especially with WKU playing LU the week before and already having beaten SHSU. Jax still has all three as well.

Both games were competitive last night, I haven't kept up with UTEP but I was surprised how closed they stayed with Latech.

We were talking about this last week for the local high school. I thought it was more like 1 and a quarter mil.

Lady Raiders kick things off this Friday evening with its first of two exhibition matches. Three starters return from last year's championship team. Anastasiia Boldyreva Ta'Mia Scott, & Jalynn Gregory headline one of our most talented teams ever. Along with newcomers such as Elina Arike, Savannah Davis, Jada Harrison, & highlighted by the return of Courtney Blakely. Looking forward to what will be another tremendous year all topped off with the new voice of the Lady Raiders, Middle Tennessee's own Joe Fisher.
