FOOTBALL Steven Rhodes starts GoFundMe account to pursue NFL dream

Are you serious? Not a fan of this approach. I appreciate his service, I am glad he played at MT.
But he needs to get a job and provide for his family. He has been "training" for 4 years. He can train while he is working.

I understand crowd funding but I don't always get some of the requests. For example, I have contributed to sudden widows of friends who didn't plan death and I have given to certain tech upstarts for creativity, but this is one of those that I just sit back and watch.

This is only as good as the amount that people freely give.

I'll be the first to say I don't understand the Go Fund Me phenomenon, but as said above no one is forced to contribute.

More power to him to pursue his dreams. There's always going to be the naysayers who tell dreamers pursuing their goals and dreams what they need and should do.

Now if this were forced giving of money, I could understand people complaining about being forced to give their money to support someone else's goals and dreams.
