“We haven’t been playing that good, but we did this time,” Shiloh coach Kim Rivers said.

T.J. Massenburg had 21 points and 14 rebounds as the Generals improved to 3-1 against out-of-state competition with an 88-56 rout of DuBois on Saturday at Norcross.

The Memphis team had edged Columbia on Friday night at Duluth in the first day of the ninth-annual showcase and Shiloh had lost to Columbia earlier.

DuBois, though, had no one to matchup with the 6-foot-8 Massenburg inside and Shiloh took full advantage.

Massenburg is headed to Middle Tennessee and coach Kermit Davis was on hand. His recruit didn’t disappoint.

“We had a good game plan and we executed it,” Rivers said. “We knew that T.J. had to be our MVP and that is exactly what he was.” .....
