FOOTBALL Rivalry week

I miss ending every season with the program's rival. As a college student I enjoyed the rivalry we had back then with tn tech and the spirit. Campus Bldgs plastered with Beat Tech or Go To Hell Tech signs. MT students kidnapping tech's student body president and letting him out at Center Hill lake and the removal of the totem pole at tech where they had it displayed in their bookstore back to Murfreesboro.

I wish we played wky to end the regular season every season and reignite some of that old spirit.

Exactly: Keeps fans, students, casual and potential fans, etc. involved to some extent all season long, regardless of record. Great memories of Thanksgiving games in both Tucker and Floyd; and the cold turkey when we got home, if any was left.
Squadrons of THP to keep things in line, visits by the Governor every year, fights on the field, caravans to the game; good memories of what was, at the time, the 2nd most important FB game played in the state each year.
Question is could any part of that be revived. Damn if I know.
