If we can get the QB play we are hoping for and RB's can run to set up the pass we should have some big plays through the air. So who will have the big impact? Batties is the experienced play maker. Collis is impressing in camp. It looked like in the spring game we are going to find a lot of ways to get James the ball. The size and speed at TE is a match up nightmare. What say you?

I am voting Collis. At least the first half of the season. I think Batties will get a lot of attention from the defenses which will leave Collis one on one. I think he is ready to make plays. Defenses may adjust but for now he gets my vote.

I went with the two big TE. They seem to be very fast for their size, and I like their production so far in camp.

I think James will have a solid first year. It seems like we are trying to get him the ball in a variety of ways.

I know it's the easy way out, but I'll go with Batties - he's the most proven and the closest we have to a true #1.

Look out for Joc Bruce though.

Also, on a different note, a guy who is MIA in practice reports who I thought was going to be an impact player quickly was Ty Clemons. I wonder how he's doing.

I was thinking the same thing about Clemons. His high school tape was pretty eye-catching. But he still is young; only a redshirt freshman.

Well the perfect answer would be that the ball was evenly distributed and ALL were making significant receptions and gains.
That said QB's tend to have favorites. So the final answer would be driven by who was at the helm, Brent od Stock.
I myself see the Collis as the guy, but Batties and James will be right there neck and neck with them.

The easy answer is Batties, but I think Collis is going to have a great year. Hopefully both will be legit threats to keep the safeties honest which is only going to make our run game that much better

I went with James. By all accounts, he's been impressive and is a versatile player. He's a lot like Joc Bruce, but he's more knowledgeable of the playbook and the system at this point.

I think he's poised to have a solid year.
