Seems like the perfect fit to be our wide receivers coach. He would be reunited with Tony Franklin and comes back to his alma mater.

I've thrown this idea out the last few years when a position as opened up in some form or fashion.

Two things that may be preventing this :
1) Background check : I'm not familiar with the state laws as they pertain to his situation
2) Recruiting : I can see how a rival coach could spin this hire against MT

I'm sure he was able to plead down what happened in California and/or get it expunged. 99% sure it wasn't a felony so there shouldn't be any issues. at this point it's all about perception and the potential for negative recruiting. Was around Pierre a lot during my time at MT and he's a good dude. I say bring him in and give him a chance.

Looks like Cal is making room for Chip Kelly.

I've had some interaction with Pierre over the years and he seems to be a good guy who loves his alma mater.

I'm in favor of giving him a chance, but trust Stock to do what is right
