I figured this may be the best place to post this and pardon the sports talk interruption, but I plan on going to Nashville for their fireworks show this year and anticipate it to be a mad house. Has anyone ever went and know a decent spot to see some explosions?

It's crazy out there. I have avoided it since I have small kids. You could probably hangout close to the Jefferson street bridge and catch a good view of it. You won't hear the music, but you'll see the show. I know on Friday 7/3/2015 the southeast portion of Davidson county (ford ice center complex) between 5-10 pm will have food trucks, music, games, and fireworks. It's a "Salute to Arms" celebration.

The pedestrian Bridge going toward LP Field, The Public Square near the Courthouse, and the site the old Ft. Nashboro.
Or be crushed down on Lower Broad!

As a kid, we watched it once or twice from the hill that the Science Center is on. Last year, me and my wife went to Bicentennial Mall, but I didn't feel well so we left before the show started.

I actually tried the discovery center and the tickets were sold out along with the general jackson, and I am told they think they close the pedestrian bridge. The more we talk about it, though the more we are starting to rethink this idea. haha. Thanks for the suggestions, guys.
