Not that I expect it to happen, but especially with the vandy coach, three years up from a non power program, fresh in my mind, it crossed my mind, what if Kermit never experiences even the modest amount of post season success that he had at MT?

I'm having a whole heck of a lot of schadenfreude the last couple of weeks.

I mean let's be real... They were picked to finish dead last in the SEC.

Kermit went in and won 20 games, got them a top 25 ranking in year one, and a tournament berth, all the while coaching up a shoddy roster (you think he wanted to play Buffen that much?) and implementing a new system.

I'd say, all things considered, that was a homerun of a season for Ole Miss..

We all know CKD is one hell of a "in-game" coach and it showed this year...the real question is can he recruit and will the fan base be patient.

Ultimately, I really don't give a damn about Ole Miss. And I feel like we gave CKD more than he gave us...so I wish all these types of threads would never happen so I wan't be tempted to comment, !

Coach Kermit Davis is so 2018 for Middle Tennessee. It’s past time to expect excellence out of our leadership and athletics!! We need to dance next year!
