Slightly off topic but recruiting is so depressing these days to me. Everyone knows what happens if the kid turns out to be a star for us. Just feels so futile, not nearly as exciting as it used to be. I used to be enamored with college recruiting.

Anyway. Good take here. Especially with our lack of quality DL players on the roster currently. I hope the commit sticks for both signing day and the years after.

I don’t know what the plan is yet for him but this is definitely someone I could see bulk up and play that hand in the dirt strong side defensive end role in the 3 man front (where Bynum plays now). Add some more athleticism there
