This is the biggest and most physical line that I have seen in the Stockstill era. Carlos Johnson and Maurice Shakir looked like wide bodied and physical SEC offensive guards that were playing offensive tackle. Adams at LG looked bigger and more physical as well. Chester won the most improved OL award and was touted the leader of the OL group which was surprising seeing that Darius Johnson is a part of that group. Very happy with where we are with this group. I still believe that the RG position is up for grabs between Stephens, Adams, and Hunter. What is eye - opening is while watching our 2nd string I kept thinking to myself that in the past our starting OL looked like that. We have come a long way baby!
I did see Connor Trent, Robert Behanan, Jesse Moffit, and Hunter Rogers in that group. They had Jesse at the C position.
I predict Darius Johnson and Josh Chester being All-conference candidates and Carlos Johnson getting Freshman all conference honors. Talented group.
