Biggest strength: The passing game was dynamite with a redshirt freshman QB, and he's not a freshman anymore.

Biggest question mark: Are there enough play-makers in the defensive front seven?

Biggest 2016 game: Louisiana Tech (Sept. 24). MTSU could be both quite good and 1-2 when Tech visits. This game will set a tone for both the conference race and MTSU's bowl prospects.

Summary: MTSU has become one of the steadiest mid-major programs, and with an exciting passing game, the Blue Raiders could spring an upset or two and make a run at 10 wins. But run offense and a lack of play-makers on defense might drag them down.

The write up scream average! With some weapons but huge holes. We will know early.

We need our RBs to get their "stuff" together. We need our D to improve just a bit. These two things happen and I think we win 8-9 games.
