UNLV transfer Troy Baxter Jr. will be coming to FGCU. Originally reported by Liam Jones of Scout’s FGCU affiliate, Baxter is a 6-foot-8 forward who averaged 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds as a freshman. Baxter was one of three UNLV players released at the end of last season.
A Tallahassee native, Baxter played high school basketball at Oldsmar Christian, and signed with UNLV after decommitting from South Florida.....

With their success the last few years at FGCU, one has to wonder if they are the new Belmont of the Atlantic Sun?
This series is just another example of Kermit looking to find as much quality of competition that he can. One heck of a schedule coming up this season.
I also have to wonder if this again speaks to the confidence Kermit has in the upcoming season's team by scheduling such a difficult ooc slate?
