I think this team can be great, but just have to be more consistent at the line. I don’t expect a 15/15 half, but can’t be 5/15 either.

Bad shooting night from field & free throw line, but it was an all around team effort. Cam & Porter 5-20 from the field. Pretty unusual for them. Essay & Torey 4-11 from free throw line.
When shooting bad you got to rebound which we did. 47-29 advantage on the boards won the game.
This was a game to be nervous about. Lipscomb can shoot & are very disciplined. They had a 94 net. The guys fought hard despite not playing that well. Resulted in an excellent win. I'll take it tonight. Got to be cleaner in Knoxville though.

We missed so many easy shots around the rim that we usually hit. We should have won by 10 or 12 points.

Says a lot that the team is winning games when they are not playing their best. We’ve got a good team that could make a run. Shooting was a lot worse than average last night so I expect that to be an outlier.

We did shoot 10/10 from the line in the first half. Only the second game I’ve been able to make this year. Decent crowd for Christmas break and it was a fun game. Took until about two minutes left but people finally started to get into the game.
