It's going to be a tough game to win. I would have liked out chances better if they would have beaten Western Thursday night. If we shoot the three ball well and don't have too many turnovers we win.

Short leash for sure. If it were me I would be willing to wait until the end of the season to make an informed decision at this point. Pretty much championship or bust in my eyes though. If he can't get it done with this mercenary squad he never will be able to. I don't see how you can renew a guy after 7 years who has failed to win a championship. Especially considering the success we had prior to his arrival. I don't see any possible way to justify it. We've been close with that barn burner with FAU (who went on to the Final 4) in CUSA tournament....but close only matters with horse shoes and hand grenades. Ricky Bobby was satire, but one thing he said is one of the most truest things ever spoken about sports, If you ain't first, you're last.


Anyway, about tonight....

What in the world is going on with Jestin Porter? Can't have a starting guard with 0 points, 0-9 shooting....1 assist....

He's looked pretty bad lately. Might be time to start Green or something

As a follow-up on Porter. Something is definitely bothering his game. As mentioned last night 0-9 from field, but also look at his 2 previous games. 3-12 against FIU, 3-13 against Tennessee. Cumulatively 6-34 or only 17% from the field for last 3 games is a horrendous shooting slump. I second sWiley about using Green.
At minimum, if Porter has a bad statistical 1st half in next contest Green should get the nod for entire second half.

After knocking off Liberty in Lynchburg, WKU traveled to play FIU in Miami. Tops get whacked 85-66 by the Panthers whom we had just beat. Going to be a wacky year in CUSA.
