#23 in AP, #22 in the coaches' final polls

My hope for Middle moving to FBS has always been to be a top 60 team consistently and to crack the top 25 occasionally. I recently have begun to think this will never happen in the current environment of disparity in college football, but Marshall gave me some hope this season. Congrats to the Herd.

Well its about time, AP voters and Coaches!!

Still consider it malpractice for Marshall to be just #23 or #22 in the AP and Coaches polls to close 2014. At least 19 would have been respectable showing. If I had a vote, would rank Marshall #16 and Boise #15. As high as #14 would be supportable, in my view.

Poll voters shows practically zero respect for C-USA. Think about it: Marshall loses in OT by one to WKU, yet a five loss SEC team still gets 1 spot ahead of them in the AP?!? Saw one team with six losses getting votes?!? Zero confidence in the poll voters this year thanks to the CFP poll.
