BB loses it's 8th mid-week game to an in-state opponent (against only one such victory) after losing it's first (IIRC) conference series over the weekend, Softball continues it's losing season with a loss to Chattanooga, and the "once on the cusp of National Relevance" Golf squad finishes 6th in the C-USA tournament ending their season. (what the heck happened to Brett Patterson? - gets an invite to play in the U. S. Open - seems guaranteed to be on the Tour soon after college - and is now just an above average college golfer in his Sr. year)

The ladies golf team winning the conference was great - good luck to them in the NCAAs. And we did have a trackster (John Ampomah) win the gold in the college Javelin throw at the prestigious Penn Relays over the weekend but that has received very little media play. And I'm excited to see that the men's BkB two high school recruits were both 1st team All-State in their respective states.

just a response to "Softball continues it's losing season with a loss to Chattanooga" - MT softball finished last season 10-45. With four regular season games left softball record they are 20-27. Not impressive standing alone, but looking back on the absolute black hole softball was in before the current coach, the rebuilding challenge is probably equal to that of MT football in the late 70s when Boots took over after the Ben Hurt era.
