Was eating out in Charleston, WV about a month ago, which is about 2 hours from my end of WV. Had my MT shirt on (like always) and a woman high five me. Her family lives in Charleston and her daughter is currently attending MT.
Have it happen all the time when I'm in east TN with family (had it happen in Pigeon Forge this weekend) but rare to happen in WV.

And I parked next to a guy with a MT license plate at Toot’s West this week but he got out of the truck wearing a UTK orange ball cap. 😂😂. Can’t make this up.

Just got back from 13 days in Greece, and while in Athens, we met a lady from Murfreesboro wearing MT shirt. My wife, also an alum, struck up a conversation and she had just retired from like 20 years working at MT.
I love Middle and am really proud of being an alum. I've met many folks across the country and we're seen in an overwhelmingly positive light. I can't help put think that the lack of success of the athletic program is such a missed opportunity.

About 5 years ago I was with my wife and young son and I spotted a guy in his mid 40s with his family, wearing an MT shirt near "The Back Poarch" in Destin FL. We both let out a "Lets Go Raiders" about the same time.

I was in Paris. I took my family on an adventure where the travel was worth the time. We had several days of exploring while each day, I wore a different MT shirt. I had several people yell go big blue or go blue raiders. Was really cool to see so many fans. Granted this was Paris Tennessee at Paris Landing State Park but still……
