Oppenheimer's famous speech kept going through my mind as I saw WKU running up and down the field during the first two quarters today......I mean holy crap can our defense be any worse? WKU had 21 points with more than 9 minutes remaining in the first quarter, LOL! Toppers made us look like Charlotte out there. Thank god the play calling was more vanilla in the second half or they could have literally hung triple digits up there if they wanted to.
3rd loss in a row. This team isn't anywhere nearly as good as I thought it was. Can forget about challenging for the CUSA title at this point; We'll be lucky to finish with our head above water. I tried my best to remain optimistic coming in to today's game but after this, I'm selling stock on this team (no pun intended). They are not half the team I pegged them to be at the start of the year. Once again, a supposed "talented" MT team not living up the hype. Who woulda thunk it?
