UK is 4-0, after beating down the bulldogs 28-7. And they beat Florida who just steamrolled utk which might just be the worst team in that conference.
I've been thinking the same thing the last couple of weeks. TF and even Larry Fedora early in the coach mac days were onto something pretty good with that offense. It's not aging well though. It's time has now seemed to past. Does anybody really have any success anymore with the spread type offense that still attempts to throw behind or even along the line of scrimmage for that WR screen? It goes nowhere. To have any success with it, you have to throw down field just like any other offense. Frankly, the TF run type of offense now strikes me as a team trying to run a high school type of offensive system in big time college football game.
Honestly I think you are right. One of their biggest tests left is this week against La Tech -- and that's a home game. The other is FAU... also a home game.
