BASKETBALL Could C-USA basketball tournament come to Nashville?

my thought is Municipal Auditorium is a dump...I'd almost rather it stay in B'ham...

I think Nashville should host it, even with it being at Municipal. It is long in the tooth but I think it would be awesome to have it in the best city in the south.

Why couldn't Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce or MT make a bid and host at Murphy Center? UTEP was host prior to Birmingham move. Much rather see tournament here than in Municipal (miserable) Auditorium. Our arena holds 11,520--plenty of space and Murfreesboro would be a great showcase, and more reasonable hotel costs for the out of town folks than Downtown Nashville.

TSSAA is in town during conference tournament.

Right now, TSSS tourney does more for the local economy than Conference USA
