I can’t see Massaro adding a short notice beat down to his boy with just a few days to prepare. Then again, I could see him make a money grab, give Stock a pass & then use any injuries as an excuse and pass for subsequent losses by Stock.

I would think any money added to this budget overrides what CRS wants. A loss is a loss and Massaro doesn't owe him anything other than a buyout at this point.

Well after tomorrow we'll probably be down to only a couple of dozens players who aren't injured, so I'm sure CRS is really going to need that second bye week in the first month of season.

If they used the "not enough time to prepare" excuse for Army, then they'll definitely find a way to use with <10 days to prepare for UNC.

Play it. Get the money. Balance the budget. And start planning to pay a buyout.
