...Schools that once received revenue topping $1 million could now see just $500,000, according to reports.
Could that lead to schools taking a glance at the American Athletic Conference or other conferences? Quite possibly.
But a few things will have to happen first for any of the teams in the conference to leave. They’ll have to place a bid with the AAC once a team or two leaves that conference.
Talk of realignment has heated up during the offseason, especially concerning in the Big XII. That conference has just 10 teams and reports suggest they’d be looking to add two more teams that would put it back at 12 teams.....
