He's listed as athlete. I imagine he played multiple positions. Any ideas on what position he will play at MT?
Not sure on venue for UCLA game. I thought Matt had mentioned (outside of our taping) it would be a neutral site contest. That would be huge having all of our non-con games against Top 25 teams all be neutral site.Haven't seen anything about UCLA either. Hoping to get some more info about the Princeton game soon as well.
Something like that I think would be better than the fun area we have. Don't get me wrong, it looks nice, but my understanding is you need certain tickets to go to it?I was listening to Sam Doughton's podcast episode with Chelsea Floyd and she was talking about having more food trucks. When I was looking at colleges two years ago I went to a couple Samford games and they have that whole section behind the end zone cleared out as a hangout place with food trucks, games, etc. I think that would be a really cool thing to do in my humble opinion but I don't know how realistic it would be to take out part of the stadium right now especially with building up top notch facilities. If I can find a good pic of Samford area, I'll send it. Linked below is that podcast episode between Sam and Chelsea...
Behind the Blue Raiders Episode 7 – Chelsea Floyd - Middle Tennessee State University Athletics

It's not filled up but you can clearly see the space in this picture. I know UTC kinda has a similar thing with food trucks and a hill for kidsI was listening to Sam Doughton's podcast episode with Chelsea Floyd and she was talking about having more food trucks. Put the visitors' locker room underneath it, leave visitors tunnel where it is so nothing gets thrown on the visiting team. Add some rows of blue chairback seats in front of it be nice.
A 15 man roster in which 9 of the 15 are in their final year of eligibility makes for a scary 2026.I think it is possible they win a lot this season. It is an upperclassman heavy team. They should be an NCAA team imo. I’m worried Nick will do that and secure his job and we will be horrible next season as the entire team will be gone pretty much.

Jestin Porter straight out predicts 20+ wins for this team. You can tell he & CNM are highly charged about the talent improvement up & down the lineup.
I didn't realize the flags were still up. I'm rarely on that part of I-65.Removed on 12-7-21. So not that long ago. But the flags are still up and the brush has grown up.
McGuire donates a huge amount. He owns the area McDs and helped start RaidersRising.Looking forward to this season, but man I can't wait to see what 2025 looks like. We're not only beating the Appy St, Liberty, Marshall, & Coastal's of the world, but a number of P4's as well.
I think it's an amalgamation of things getting these young guys on board.
Coaching staff & on campus construction has to be lighting up the eyes of these young guys.
But my big question. Is our NIL package better than what I thought? No way would I thought we could compete with Liberty's NIL, but we've definitely had more than 1 player who said yes to MT over Liberty.
Bingo. Little siblings come and become fans. Friends come and become fans. Before you know it going to Floyd is a fun thing to do, even moreso with weeknight games.I also look at it as those are new fans that will come to the games. We’ve got 9 commits from TN for 2025 so far. 7 of those 9 are between Murfreesboro, Shelbyville and Brentwood. Let’s say each of those 7 bring 5 people to each game, that’s 35 additional people in the stands that we wouldn’t have had before. I think 5 is very conservative too. I could easily see 10+ for each of them. There are so many benefits, besides just the play on the field, to recruiting local.
