BASKETBALL WAC Opponents for '24 season

A big ugh, but I supposed that same feeling is expressed by their fans as well about playing MT.
Conference matchups are a great idea, but would be so much better embraced if they had a degree of geographic commonality. While CUSA has a wide range of teams geographically locating a conference that has a Mid-American or Mid-South appeal would make more sense, & would certainly increase greater fan appeal.
A program such as this would have far more appeal with conferences such as the Sun Belt, MAC, Missouri Valley, or even the OVC for example. Still not totally poo-pooing this contract with the WAC. As the saying goes, you have to break an egg to make an omelet. Hopefully over the next couple of years other better geographically alligned conferences will be more open to signing a contract with CUSA.
