Not opposed to giving uab a year to reinstate football, but it really should not be longer. As it is, it is unfair to all other programs if they are not serious about it, and can pour all their resources into basketball.

MT will never drop FB. Look as hard as its been the last 17 years, I would never want to go back. As much as I loved the FB when I was in school (mid 1980s), the program is much bigger now. Even at 17-18K per game we are well ahead of the attendance from our best days in the OVC.

Now we could see the NCAA change up the FB divisions but I don't ever see a day in our lifetime that MT would not field a team.
