I live in Columbus, OH and it's all that people are talking about. Really annoying to TBH. Yes, he lied at media days, but he reported both the 2009 and the 2015 incidents to his athletic directors and there was an investigation both times. There was absolutely NOTHING found during the 2015 investigation. There's even a request from urban with the powell police department circa 2015 where he tried to look into the incident but there was nothing to report to urban because nothing was documented because NOTHING HAPPENED.
Courtney Smith is just upset because the money got cut off and she's tries to take everyone down since the Gravy Train ended. I'm not an Ohio State fan in the least bit but I feel bad for Urban here. Not being truthful at Media Days was a bad idea, but I understand why he didn't want to divulge anything. He should have just said no comment.
If Ohio State wants to fire him, they will have to do so without cause because he hasn't done anything to warrant being fired with cause. Not being truthful with the media isn't enough to fire someone with cause, and that's the only thing Urban is guilty of here.

There is no charge. Zero charges were filed. I don't typically victim shame but I'm 99% sure Courtney Smith is full of $hit here and just stirring the pot for $$$$$$$$.

Getting rid of Urban would be a monumental mistake. I hope they make the mistake of firing him.

It looks even worse when you read some of the updates where Ohio State sent people to meet with Courtney to pressure her not to pursue charges.

I'll just leave this here. Keeping my opinion to myself until this whole mess is over. And from the looks of this, it is far far from over.

Pretty sure everyone can see through all of Courtney's BS. Accusations going back a decade and it all comes to a head now because her gravy train got cut off? Interesting timing, Ms. Smith.

I can say through my connections here at Rivals, everyone I've asked or prodded about the situation gave me the same "just wait" answer, implying that there's two sides to every coin, and the flip side of this story was coming soon.
This a pretty big flip of the coin considering the mother's have come forward.
I get that Urban is no saint (let's get real nobody is at that level) but I'm glad the leave was ordered with the understanding that a full investigation would take place. Guys like Reece Davis saying that it happened so lawyers could negotiate his resignation are idiots.
