FOOTBALL Standings through week five.

I had to laugh at the odu fans, were tweeting shots of ODU at the top of the standings. They are 2-0 in conference having beaten charlotte and utsa but have lost 2 of their 3 non conference games.

I would laugh along with you, but I remember thinking the same thing about Southern Miss last year.

They're getting a big head after beating up on Charlotte... The same Charlotte that 37-19 to EMU and 48-20 to Temple. They're pretty terrible. Even if ODU won 70-17 over Charlotte, it still doesn't mean much ... look at us last year.

EMU is 4-1. Temple is decent. My point is they have won the games that mean the most.

It's still early in the year. I have been humbled so many times. They don't have to play us.

Yeah, I acknowledged that they are 2-0. It's just that I've never seen any legitimate source place a team with the same conference record but a worse overall record above the team with the better overall record, like this odu fan did in a tweet...
