"The most productive offense in MTSU history managed only 320 yards and one touchdown in a 17-13 loss to Vanderbilt last season. Most of the single-season offensive records MTSU broke in 2015 were set in Tony Franklin’s lone season as offensive coordinator there in 2009, and now he’s back as play-caller this season.Brent Stockstill passed for 4,005 yards last season, just 52 yards shy of Jameis Winston’s NCAA freshman record (4,057). He probably will have to improve on his 286 yards against Vanderbilt last year to beat the Commodores this time around."
