How in the heck is the Memphis board reporting it but there has not been one peep from our Athletic department through social media?!
Way too many assistant FB coaches. I can barely keep up with the coordinators. Regardless, I wish Mallory a speedy recovery.

He was the Memphis o-line coach under Tommy West for 9 years. That's why. A lot of his former players post in those forums. One of them is the son of a former teammate of mine in the 70's.

From a buddy of mine in Memphis:
"Had a "spiral arterial tear" along with the heart attack. Put in stints, need to put in a couple more but doctor wants to wait until June to let the tear heal. Could go home in the next couple days, but obviously has to rest and heal."
