Did I not just see a very recent thread regarding a commit which has disappeared?

He committed but then added he wanted a condition where he could transfer to UAB in two years when they revamp their FB program so MT is now wavering as to if they want to extend the offer. More to come!!!

Never heard of a "promise to allow a transfer" condition in a NLI. Seems to me if this young man is so intent of playing in B'ham he should go the JUCO route for now. MTSU may sound like a JUCO but we're not. LOL

As for the comment in one of the threads about trying to get confirmation from both sides I have to ask: I want this board to be as connected to the athletic dept. as much as legally possilbe but; I thought no one, and I mean no one, connected to the athletic dept. is allowed to even mention the name of a recruit outside of the staff until the NLI is received. I hope when we are talking about getting something from "both sides" we are referring to the athlete, his local media, his h. s. coach, etc. and not from some contact in the athletic dept. We don't need a NCAA problem caused by our desire for inside info.

Well, what I said was things just weren't official on both ends. A kid can go on Twitter (in this case he did) and say he committed to so and so. But when I reach out to the kid for a quote and then ask who he gave his commitment to and he says he hasn't talked to the staff yet, then there's not confirmation on both ends. That's what I was referring to.

I have plenty of sources inside and outside of the Rivals network, there's no need to venture into uncharted waters.
