Didn't get to spend much time on these two but there were two that really stood out to me.
At LB it was Cavellis Luckett. He really came on at the end of last year and it continues in the spring. His instincts to see the play and react are much better and he is very powerful and fast. He along with Barber gives us what I would consider the best linebacker duo in C-USA. Both should garner some post-season accolades.
At DB it was Quay Watt. That guy was blowing people up. He is great at run support and had adequate coverage skills. His play is going to force the coaches to find ways to get him on the field.
I can honestly say that I have no doubt we will be better against the run this year. Against the pass is still a question mark. Would love to hear some commentary around that.
