FOOTBALL No NIL Money

Did anyone else here the announcers mention during the game that we didn't use any NIL money on our football team this season? What would the strategy behind not doing tha be? Is that why we don't have any offensive lineman?

Derek Mason has been adamant that he will use our NIL money to retain players not bring them in. I would think he was wanting to evaluate who is worth keeping.

I actually think that is a smart approach. Make kids come in and earn it.

I must have missed him talking about it. Don't know if that is the best strategy or not but hopefully he will adjust if it doesn't work out like planned.

It's smart if you don't have any money.
These kids think they earn it in high school and want to be paid up front. Totally azz backwards.
