Lady Raiders attempt to salvage final regular season road trip. FIU appears to be going nowhere fast after losing at home to WKU 83-48. Would love to see those kind of offensive numbers tomorrow from the Raiders, but that doesn't appear realistic for this team.
Still a good opportunity to get a bad taste out of their mouth, & chance to share a regular season championship with Liberty. Good luck to the Lady Raiders in their regular season finale.

Just curiously, suppose we win and Liberty wins today. First place tie. I heard on Monte's show that if that happened we'd be the #2 seed. He didn't explain the tie breaker. Does anyone know that?

We lost to Western in our other conference loss. Liberty lost to LA Tech. La Tech will finish lower than Western so seems like we should be #1 because their loss, based on order of finish, was worse than ours.

That is what makes more sense, I agree, but I believe the order is going down seed by seed and comparing head to head records. So our 1-1 against WKU would be worse than their 2-0 record against them.

Big issue remains Insell refusing to sub out players who are having terrible games. Blakely has 6 turnovers and offense is a mess yet she only sat a few seconds this half. It is okay to have an off night but if someone isn't hitting what you need in whatever aspect of the game, put someone else in and give them a chance to do better!

The thing is we're hitting a good number of shots, 11 for 22, but it looks so discombobulated still and we have had WAY too many turnovers.

If my tie breaking order of operations is correct:

If LT wins, UTEP will be the 10-seed and Kennesaw will be the 7-seed.

If UTEP wins, Jax State will be the 10-seed and Kennesaw will be the 7-seed.

Obviously we have a different definition of guards playing well. Against a team with an overall winning percentage of just under 40%, CB had 9 of our 18 turnovers. Yet played 36 minutes. That’s inexcusable. What other coach allows that type carelessness? Clearly she knows that regardless of how she plays, she’s going to continue to get major minutes.

Can you imagine a wide receiver dropping 3-4 catchable passes and staying in the game. Or, a running back with multiple fumbles staying in the game? But, 9 turnovers yet playing 36 minutes 😳🤔
