LADY RAIDER BB Middle Tennessee (17-6, 9-1) vs Kennesaw State (8-13, 3-7) (ESPN+), 5PM, Saturday, February 8, 2025

McClinic enjoyed a stellar career at Middle Tennessee State where she was the 2004 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year and led the Blue Raiders to consecutive conference crowns in 2004-05. She graduated with the most games played (120) in program history and ranked second in career steals with 246. As a team captain, McClinic's Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year award was buoyed by the fourth-most steals per game (3.5) in the NCAA. As a senior, she helped the Blue Raiders upset 12th-ranked North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

It was a very complete game on offense. Defense was spectacular in the first half. I thought they might hold them to single digits in the first half. Except for some fouls shots, they would have as they held them to 11 points in the first half.

Have to give kudos to CAB for really getting it together from the PG position. After that WKU loss and a few rough games early in the nonconference, she has not only become a legit scoring threat but really worked hard to get the team working on offense. Tonight was a great example of that and I'm very excited to see how they do against WKU next Saturday.

Lady Raiders currently setting with the #51 net ranking. Tomorrow we should get into the 40's for the first time.
Would like to see 5,000 in the Murph next week. Team is starting to smell blood. Believe they will destroy Tops in next matchup.
