Despite lower conference rankings these next 2 road games will not be easy. SHSU has only had 6 home games all year. Home record is 5-1.

I've seen a couple interviews with Mostafa and he seems like a really good dude as a person. Always complimenting his teammates. Really wish we had more than one season to watch him do his thing in The Glass House.
Mostafa is the missing link. He is a legitimate threat to score every time he gets the ball within 10 ft of the basket and his rebounding instincts are as good as I have ever seen. Players like him are hard to find. We probably have the best women and men’s post players in the conference. We had to go a long way to find them both!

Men's Net Ranking have climbed to double digit rankings for first time in ages. Raiders up to #96 in the NET!
Just a guess, but possibly highest ranking since the Davis era or at least the first couple at the start of the CNM era?
Fingers crossed that the age, & maturity of this team can show through on the road for these next 2 games. Self confidence & momentum is a huge part of becoming a championship caliber team. As mentioned above these next 2 are huge, & I believe could play a very important role in developing that championship mentality as we get deeper into the season.

MT is 0-2 on the series from last season, and lost by 17 last time at their place.
They seem to be a hot or cold team. Nearly every game they played is a blowout loss or double digit win.
This being at their house is the issue. Their sole loss (in Conference play) was to Liberty.
If its worth anything; Liberty beat them by 8 and beat us by 6. Going to be a close one.

Nice win! Officiating was pretty terrible there at the end. They sure did shoot three well. I doubt they shoot that well when we see them again in the Murphy Center.
For the moment MT is alone at the top (5-1) in CUSA as NMSU and UTEP's games with Kennesaw State and Jax State are in the second half.
