KANSAS places Les Miles on Administrative leave....

Can we still get players in for 2021, or are you referring to signing class of next year?

I don't think there are really any scholarship limits these days so the answer comes down to program finances and/or how badly we need to fill a hole in our lineup....or how talented is the individual.

Because the coach was fired before the spring practice, they will probably be granted a transfer pass. I'm sure Dearmon is on the horn. He's pretty sharp.

Dearmon can't contact any Kansas players UNTIL they put their name in the portal.

And it seems likely the NCAA will remove the rule requiring players to sit out a year soon (so a waiver for Kansas players may be a bit moot).

I thought if a coach left, you could transfer without waiting a year. Is that not the case anymore?

NCAA has usually allowed players to transfer FROM schools placed under NCAA sanctions (i.e. Baylor) but, to this point, Kansas football is not under sanction.

It's expected the NCAA will pass a one time exception to the "sit out rule" in April. And many hope this will be the standard going forward.
