Giddy looks to be struggling in the early going of this new season.

My guess, Giddy might be trying too hard to integrate the midrange and driving part of his game. It has him thinking too much. He looks unnatural. It sure would be nice to see Giddy settle down and just be himself. That is, play strong on both ends, and take those natural 3s when they come his way. I imagine he would get back on track pretty fast. Maybe then with confidence restored he could try to gradually implement the other aspects of the game he has been working on during the offseason.

His threes were really poor against TSU... and he only took a couple. He's one of the best outside shooters in the country, but he won't be recognized as such unless he takes shots like he took last year and has confidence in his ability to rise up against defenders (or, nobody, if it's a zone).
