I remember when we moved to CUSA a big deal was made how the contract specified that ESPN and the like had to refer to us as just Middle Tennessee and not MTSU or even Middle Tennessee State. Sadly didn't make much of a difference. Especially when the pres and Chip on the radio still use it.
We are the only Div 1 school in the entire country with middle in our name yet we don't take advantage of that easy recognition. Kudos to FL Atl for trying.
