WKU and their ridiculous helmets (I will give them credit for marketing but that doesn't mean I don't still think their mascot is a stupid blob) just made the top 15 in the G5 coaches poll. I'm gonna hope and root for UTEP like crazy that Walden gets his first FBS win vs them.

Jax whipped NMSU 54-13.

What started out for Rich Rod at 0-3 has turned to 3-3 and 2-0 in conference play. They have a bye before hosting us on Wednesday 10/23.
 
Thats what NMSU's admin deserves for acting like morons towards Pavia and Kill forcing them to walk out. How's that working out for them? They just beat BAMA and NMSU is 1-5.

Kill stepped away because of the bowl game F up that happened when UNM hosted the bowl game and denies NMSU use of their facilities when they needed them and basically sabotaged their game prep. Pavia was disciplined earlier that year after some off field antics related to UNM earlier that season and was also super pissed how NMSU didn't have his back. NMSU pres came down hard on Kill and Pavia behind closed doors for making all of it public. Kill told them and UNM that he could go to Mexico and drink margaritas until he drops and that he didn't have to be there. They did not apologize or back him up and he quit. Pavia portaled out. NMSU tried to cover it all up but they crapped the bed on the whole situation. Kill wanted a better bowl as well besides playing in the same state at their in state rival.

This is what I saw as well back on X when it all happened.

Then Lea hired Kill as an analyst at Vandy. Pavia chose Vandy because of him, even though they would have 7 QBs. Pavia won out and here we are.

yup! NMSU pres and AD were pressured by NM state reps and businessmen who were also UNM alums to discipline Kill. Kill basically told them to F themselves. All behind closed doors.
