Will all of these missed games be made up in december? Is that the plan? If so, some teams have 3 or more games to make up so far.

The Duke game with Charlotte is BS. They cancel their game with us saying the ACC is going conference only but they are playing this game which is also a home game. P5 schools can suck it.

The ACC announced their plans for football scheduling to include 10 conference games plus 1 non-conference game. The non-conference game must be played in the state of the ACC school. Since both Middle and Charlotte were both on Duke's 2020 schedule, I'm guessing Duke opted for the closer of the two opponents.

I saw someone say it online and it’s true: the picture shows him wearing the mask wrong. That’s a tight fitting respirator, probably a N95. To wear one properly, you have to be clean shaven and wear both straps or it’s basically worthless a respirator. I find it comical that the photo they use to give kudos shows our medical staff doing something they should know better.

Holy crap. I didn’t even look at the photo. You are so right. Fwiw, former CDC here. Not only that but an N95 is supposed to be fit tested, and you can tell that the nose piece isn’t clamped properly. That said, the purpose of mask-wearing is to prevent the wearer who is shedding virus but doesn’t know they have it yet from spreading it to others. So, even an N95 worn wrong probably does an effective job of preventing the user from spreading it to others; however, the optic of that is really bad that the respirator is being used improperly. Only at little middle.

When I saw it I thought it is like having a picture of a pulmonologist chewing on a cigar for a news article about his role reducing lung cancer. I got a chuckle out of it.
