Wednesday night while MT was getting beat at Alabama, Tulane lost 10-1 at home to cross town rival UNO.
our pitching has been very good outside of Bama.
but save 1 or 2 guys, hitting is subpar. Gotta pick that up.
Yeah, need some guys to step up when they're going against quality pitching. Shame that a good pitching effort by MT was wasted against Tulane. The relief effort by Thomas was a big surprise to me, and hopefully that will be consistent when he comes in.
I would've been tempted to swap up those two (Brown and Thomas) to Saturday or Sunday, knowing what the batters were facing on the mound from Tulane Friday night.

My guess is Tulane will be in the postseason. Wished we could of picked up a win today. Our bats must get better. We seem to have a solid pitching staff for the weekends.
It’s odd. I was tracking us to be 4-7 at this point, so we are only 1 game off. However, it feels disappointing.
