Got to sit down with Coach McDevitt after last week's win over WKU (only had availability before the Sam Houston matchup on Saturday). Disappointing game in Huntsville, but nonetheless they have a chance to move into 4th with a win tonight over Liberty. Interesting to hear about the challenges that were presented prior to the last head-to-head in Lynchburg which explains the blow-out (sort of).

The Lady Raiders riding a 13 game winning streak welcome Sam Houston to the Glass House Sat afternoon. The team finally received some welcomed rest this past week. MT had just finished a 4 week stretch of games in which each of their opponents had a full week to prepare while our squad had to play multiple games each week.
It could be hard not to overlook a struggling Sam Houston club this week. The Raiders biggest conference matchup of the year will be looming with a tough Liberty Flames team awaiting us in Lynchburg next week. But with only 2 games left at home look for a well rested Lady Raiders unit to put on another good show this weekend.

Kevin Byard was traded to the Eagles... Got crap in return.
