24-YARD RECEIVING TOUCHDOWN JEKAIL MIDDLEBROOK

Nick Vattiato with an high IQ play to draw a linebacker up (who was called for roughing the passer) and pushes the ball over the linebacker. Middlebrook catches it and carries it the distance. As Chris Collinsworth and the broadcast says, the play was "a little Mahomey." Extra point good.

The linebacker is disqualified for targeting. Sifa Leota ejected.

That’s a smart move, but probably out of desperation given his record and the fact he’s on track to be fired this year if their season doesn’t turn around.

It is VERY difficult for a HC to be good at all the duties of HC and be the team’s coordinator/play caller.

yup! NMSU pres and AD were pressured by NM state reps and businessmen who were also UNM alums to discipline Kill. Kill basically told them to F themselves. All behind closed doors.
