There weren’t many fans there. We have the worst administration in country. It is utterly baffling how McDevitt is still employed here.

Go back and read my stuff from four - six years ago and tell me what’s different today? Or do you want me to save you the time and tell you the same problems you see now have been ever present under CNM?

tsu has always been a mess. Whatever the corrective measures taken, there will be similar problems crop up again five or ten years down the road, rinse and repeat.

They honestly should merge and sell the campus in Nashville. That would solve most of the issues from a money standpoint. The state will never do that so MT01 is right, they will throw money at a never ending problem. In order to solve the problems there would need to be major changes and I just don’t see that happening.

Big take away is not that it's 6 new players, that seems like 2 out of every 3 teams these days. What's different from other schools is there was no portal involved, these are all high caliber freshmen. The Insell's are building for the next 2-3 years down the road. Hopefully we can keep them all. As mentioned before combining these ladies with Davis, Harrison, Monson, & Scott has a good chance to make a pretty darn good team next year as well.

All versatile players too. Naturally there will be portal movement especially if the maintain the lack of bench usage, but with how versatile this class is, they should be able to fill in everywhere just fine

Hey Nick - We didn't have good open looks because your players cannot threaten the basket. Their defense stuck on our players like flies on shit because nobody could drive and create anything.

As usual, our offense falters and can't shoot for shit against a good team. In the past we at least had decent defense, but it appears that's even gone now. Murray could have scored 100 if they wanted to

Can we just go hire Steve Prohm ? This is his 3rd year back at Murray and he's already assembled a superior team to anything we have...with a smaller budget and 2/3rd the pay for him and his assistants. Imagine what he could do at MT?

This my first game this season and will be my last. This is a really bad team. Not one player should be playing at FBS level. The only reason we may win 15 games is our conference is bad.

Did I originally think we had the players to compete against a decent basketball team? Yes. Do I still think we have good enough players to compete against a team like Murray St if coached well? Yes. Did I originally doubt the quality of our coaches to get the best out of these players? Based on past experience, yes. Did I hope that maybe this group of players could be good enough to mask a weak coaching staff & still give us a quality team? I was so ready to see a competitive men's team I was practically ok with it.
Are the results of this game all for the best concerning a coach with a lame duck contract? A resounding "Yes!". We're going on 7 years of the same old same old. At year's end it's time to terminate CNM. He's a nice guy who just doesn't have the coaching chops needed to succeed at this level.

Dominated in our own building by a school that has half our athletic budget, plays FCS football, and pays their coach 2/3rd's of what we pay ours whose only been there 2 years versus McDevitt's 6 going on 7 here.....

I left at halftime, usually that's not something I do for mbb, but I didn't see much energy or fight out there on court or the bench.

No real surprises here. Mostly the same guys on this roster with some new contributors like Mustafa, Counter, maybe a little help from Lands and Alston.

But, absolutely nothing noteworthy or game changing though that will make this season much different. Is this the worst defensive team we've had with Nick ? Our opponents have basically been playing against air. Evansville finally started missing, but a moderately decent team like Murray St. is going to hit the high % shots which we seem to love to give them. Pathetic energy on defense and basically no pressure on the ball whatsoever.

Pretty sad to see us fold like a cheap tent the second we play a decent team. Can't say I expected anything different, but still F'ing annoying.

So ready to move on
