If they are smart they should get the developer to include restaurant and retail space on the bottom floor. That would help create more of an atmosphere around campus. We have one of the worst retail/restaurant scene around are campus that I've ever seen round a university our size. The fault lies with MT and the city of Murfreesboro.

I don't think Cumbie will last the season. Keeler absolutely is a heck of a coach and will get SHSU back in shape but 4th is a stretch. They could easily go 1-3 out of conference and finish the season with Jax and LU back to back. I don't see them winning more than 3 conf games, 4 tops. I sure hope a 5-7 (4-4) record doesn't equate to 4th place. I'd like to see at least half the conference be bowl eligible.

Yup. Old funeral home. Corner of Greenland and MT Blvd opposite of courts where the 2nd brick school sign is.

I remember the school buying that lot after the funeral home burned and they built the new building on 96.

Any idea where you might be setting up? I might try to swing by and say hi. For the first time in years, I think I just might make out to a game. It seems that in the early going CDM is actually doing the right things to try to improve the program and build energy. It is refreshing to see after many years of lethargic stagnation.
