Perhaps the FIU administration and the MT administration are kindred spirits.Yikes. Our conference mates!

Exactly. There is a opportunity cost to keeping him. No telling what the true cost of keeping Stockstill around all these years is. It's many multiples of his annual salary guaranteed, but we can't expect the clowns running this place to understand that.and we can't afford to buy certain coaches contracts out???
There IS a cost to keeping underperforming coaches...
When we had our sit down with Massaro a few years ago, I questioned his ticket pricing strategy. At the time, WKU tickets were 50% of the price of comparable tickets at MT.Wow. Great info there.

Wasn't it something about devaluing the product, if I remember correctly? I swore he said that. It blew my mind, because the product is ALREADY devalued. The market has spoken. When we had our sit down with Massaro a few years ago, I questioned his ticket pricing strategy. At the time, WKU tickets were 50% of the price of comparable tickets at MT.
I can’t remember his exact answer (will see if I can find my notes) but I remember disagreeing with.
Then again, I’d rather have 2000 fans paying $5 bucks than 1000 fans paying $10 bucks
What does his strategy call for when you can’t give away tickets or have to pay people to attend? 😂Wasn't it something about devaluing the product, if I remember correctly? I swore he said that. It blew my mind, because the product is ALREADY devalued. The market has spoken.
That would be the tried and true blue method of pretending there's more butts in seats by announcing the attendance as whatever amount you feel like you can get away with. What does his strategy call for when you can’t give away tickets or have to pay people to attend? 😂
They used to put free Vandy football tickets on loaves of Bunny Bread. We could try that. What does his strategy call for when you can’t give away tickets or have to pay people to attend? 😂
I went to a few Vandy games in the 70s with those tickets, during the Pancoast era. I'd forgotten about that. They used to put free Vandy football tickets on loaves of Bunny Bread. We could try that.

Yes. We spanked them pretty soundly in Memphis my Junior year 35-14 and Coach Pancoast was let go after the season. He visited our locker room the next year in Jackson,MS after we upset Miss St. He signed my cousin 3 years ahead of me but I never played for him.You must have won since he's now selling HR benefit plans

He’s been battling some health issues but Coach Donnelly told me last week that he’s doing better. Good man.
