For one simple reason.
As we've said on here before, after every P5 win Stock has gone 1-2 for his next 3 games. If anything, Stock is consistent at being up and down.

If MT ever aspires to not only 'compete' but win conference championships, they are going to have to part ways with stockstill. Even if they extend his contract through 2052, MT will never be Champions until we have a new coach.

I can't see us winning this either. CRS has 6 wins against them but only 2 were when they had a pulse. This is WKU's record in the seasons they've lost to us:

Most of his wins are either just before or just after a coaching change. What's worse is that they get coaches that play chess while we go to Cracker Barrell find some old guy playing checkers.

FIU held the Roadrunners down ladt night better than we did.
UTSA had 308yds passing against FIU. 414 vs us. UTSA had 138 rushing against FIU vs 168 against us.
we had
84yds rushing. FIU 137
368 passing. FIU 186.
We did pass better but let then score 15 more points than FIU did.
UTSA punted 4 times against FIU and only twice against us.
FIU held the ball almost 5min longer than UTSA while UTSA held the ball 9min longer than us.
UTSA was 10/14 on 3rd downs against us, only 6/14 against FIU.
We allowed 32 first downs, while FIU only allowed 23.
