I know this year is not over but I think it is time that you seriously consider whether the program is pointing in the right direction under you and your staff. Does having a .500ish record after 10 years feel like success? Do you think the sole reason attendance is down is because it's the new way of football?
The answer lies on you. Yes you have a couple solid wins but you have amassed a load of terrible losses. No conference championship. A lot of let downs to people that have this University on their degree.
Do the right thing. Work out an exit from the program with Massaro before you dismantle this one single handedly. Don't let your legacy be the lame duck.
