Some of you who complain so much about Davis' mouth and his berating and "cussin" out players. Is he in any way comparable to Stallings?

I don't know much about Stallings behavior, but I do know he has won more. Winning covers up dissent.

Not that much difference. KD has a .601 percentage of wins while Stallings is at .617.

I don't know if you are both trying to be funny or if you have been out of the loop the last 40 hours but I was referring to their use of language toward their players.

Stalling's "I'll f---ing kill you" comment to one of his players after the UT-K game, in addition to other choice comments, was pickled up by ESPN microphones and has been all over the national and local media since.

Just wondering, since some very vocal fans primary complaint against Davis is his use of language and berating of players if it has ever been documented that Davis has ever said anything comparable to what Stallings said Thurs. night.

I've personally heard Kermit go in on players plenty of times, but never to that extent.

His stare down is vastly underrated IMO. I think his players get the gist from that alone.

I have really enjoyed the dustup over Stallings attacking his player on national tv. All I know is Stalling lost to Kermit the last time they faced MT, and Stallings said he wasn't going to re-up for a series with MT.

Stallings could have used different language but that player needs to show some respect and listen to his coach. Especially if he's done it more than once. Kid should have been punished way back when if it keeps happening.

Having spent a yr connected with the Vandy program, the rumors about Stallings is laughable. Does he cuss? Does he yell? Yep, for sure.......but he's by no means the worst I've heard. He's not even in the top 10 or 20. One of the biggest things that Stallings likes to do is to drop kick basketballs into seats at Memorial. That's about it.

Calipari's first few years at Memphis were some of the best public cuss fits ever thrown by a coach. Except for maybe Bobby Knight.
