I wonder why Gannett/DNJ hired someone with no ties to MT. No disrespect to young Mr. Bacharach, but MT does churn out a lot of Mass Comm grads, and I would think a good number could do the job and do it well. Good luck to Mr. Bacharach. Hopefully he stays for a while, does a good job, and maybe develops a connection to the community.
